Have you ever wondered how those celebrities can have such perfectly shaped white teeth? Most of the time, they have what are called, "veneers". Veneers are generally used for aesthetic purposes. If you want teeth that will always stay white, veneers are the answer. Once you've chosen the color you would like for your teeth, porcelain veneers will always stay the same color. This is the main advantage of having veneers. A porcelain veneer is designed and milled by Dr. Slome with our CEREC machine while you watch. You may decide with Dr. Slome what shape, length and shade you would like for your teeth. Past dentistry could only correct imperfections by placing crowns. However, with veneers, less of the natural tooth is drilled compared to a crown. A thin porcelain layer is placed on the front of the tooth to achieve the desired look.
